The Qur’an – the original messages
Below is the core of the Qur’an, reduced to its foundational messages, without culture, history, or later layers.
1) Reality is One, ordered, and meaningful
There is a single source of truth.
Nothing is random, pointless, or ownerless.
Unity–>coherence–>accountability
2) You are not self-created
Human beings are given, not self-originating.
Life is received as a trust, not owned absolutely.
3) Truth exists independent of opinion
Right and wrong are discovered, not invented.
Power does not create truth; truth judges power.
4) Life is a moral test
Life is not entertainment, accident, or punishment.
It is a trial of alignment: will you place things where they belong?
5) Zulm (misplacement/injustice) is the root of disorder
Suffering spreads when:
- Desire rules reason
- Ego replaces truth
- Power escapes accountability
Zulm harms the self before it harms others.
6) The human being has an inner compass (fitrah)
You already recognize the truth when you meet it.
The Qur’an reminds more than it agues.
Resistance is usually not ignorance – it is avoidance.
7)Freedom comes from disipline, not indulgence
Obeying impulse enslaves.
Submitting to truth liberates.
The Qur’an trains restraint to protect dignity
8) Justice is non-negotiable
Justice applies:
- Against yourself
- Against your group
- Against your interest
A society survives by justice, not by identity.
9) Accountability continues beyond death
Actions do not vanish.
Nothing meaningful is lost, ignored, or wasted.
This restores weight to:
- Time
- Choice
- Character
10)Return is always possible
The door back to alignment is always open:
- Acknowledgement
- Correction
- Repair
Despair is never justified, arrogance is.
